We are excited to announce the 2025 spring trip to San Antonio! All students in the AHS & LFC Band and Colorguard programs are invited to participate!

We will partner with the facility at the University of Texas-Austin on Friday, April 11th. We will meet a special guest at DKR Stadium for a group photo before breaking into groups for campus tours, band performance and critiques, and a presentation with their composer in-residence Omar Thomas. Students will be able to participate in some elective classes like leadership and movement clinics as well. After our day at UT, we will head to dinner at Dave and Busters in San Antonio before heading to our hotel for the night. On Saturday, we will spend the day at Six Flags Fiesta Texas and then go to the Riverwalk for dinner and exploring before returning to the hotel. On Sunday we will stop at the Natural Bridge Caverns, explore the maze, and have lunch before heading back to AHS. 

If you are interested in signing up for the trip, you need to have all of your registration fees paid. If your fees are fully paid, you have a $200 deposit due and a signed trip contract deposited in the AHS Band safe by Friday, August 30, 2024. The total cost of the trip is $650 split over six monthly installments. Please see the trip contract for final details.
