Do's & Don'ts for Marching

✅ Do:

  • ✅ Wear the blue undergarment shirt and black undergarment shorts at all times while in uniform. These are essential to maintaining uniform appearance and comfort.

  • ✅ Arrive on time and prepared for every performance, ensuring all uniform parts are properly fitted and complete.

  • ✅ Keep your uniform clean and free from any damage. A well-maintained uniform ensures that we all look our best as a team.

  • ✅ Label your uniform parts with your name to help prevent mix-ups.

  • ✅ Double-check your uniform before each performance to ensure all parts are clean, intact, and properly fitted. If you notice any issues, let the SLT at your rack know immediately so they can assist you. A quick check helps avoid surprises and ensures you're ready to go.

❌ Don't:

  • ❌ Alter, trim, or decorate your uniform in any way. Modifications can compromise the uniform’s integrity and uniformity.

  • ❌ Leave your uniform unattended in places where it may be damaged or lost, such as on the ground or in a wet environment.

  • ❌ Share your uniform parts with others. Each item is assigned to you, and it’s important to keep track of your individual pieces.

  • ❌ Wear any part of the uniform improperly. It’s essential to follow the instructions for each item to maintain a polished and consistent look.

  • ❌ Take your jacket and drop into the restroom. Hang them in the designated area to keep them clean and dry for every performance.
