Committees are a vital part of the Allen Band Booster Association.  We need lots of willing volunteers serving in various ways to support the band and colorguard programs. If you are interested in serving, please fill out the following form:  2024-25 ABBA Committee Application

MEMBERSHIP

PATCHES
Chair: Dana Myers
The Patches Committee works to design, procure and merchandise the various letterman's jacket patches that represent the Escadrille experience.  Looking for one more person to serve on this committee.

SPONSORS
Chair: OPEN
We are always looking for volunteers to be ABBA representatives and go out into our community looking for sponsors. Funds from sponsors help to supply the band and colorguard programs with necessary resources, equipment and other needs.  Looking for 2-3 people to serve on this committee.

FUNDRAISING

INVENTORY MANAGEMENET
Chair: Amy Anthony
Help track and maintain assets such as spirits wear and membership incentives along with filling orders. Reports to 2nd VP of Ways and Means.  We are looking for 2-3 people to serve on this committee.
FUNDRAISING
Chair: OPEN
The fundraising committee supports the fundraising activities of the Allen Band. Tasks are varied. If you like talking to other people, this is the committee for you! Reports to 2nd VP of Ways and Means.  We are looking for 2-3 people to serve on this committee.

LOGISTICS

LOGISTIC SUPPORT
Chair: Daniel Rios
Help move, load, organize and handle the operations of equipment and resources. Reports to 3rd VP of Logistics.  Looking for 4-5 people to serve on this committee.
FOOD SERVICES
Chair: Bill Philipbar
Organizes ordering, delivery and distribution of food and water for students and volunteers. Reports to 3rd VP of Logistics.  Looking for 5-6 people to serve on this committee.
GUARDFATHER
Chair: David Clothier
Help the Allen colorguard program with needs such as prop moving and building, traveling, equipment and other needs. Reports to 3rd VP of Logistics.  Looking for 3-4 people to serve on this committee.
PROPS
Chair: Collin Falwell
Works to ensure props are in working condition, organizes volunteers to assemble, breakdown, move and set up props for all performances. Reports to 3rd VP of Logisitics.  Looking for 8-10 people to serve on this committee.

VOLUNTEERS

VOLUNTEER SUPPORT
Chair: Consuelo Rios
To assist the VP of Volunteers in volunteer management. Reports to 4th VP of Volunteers.  Looking for 3-4 people to serve on this committee.
UNIFORMS
Chair: Neelam Kishnani
Help with uniforms such as fitting, basic upkeep i.e. on-the-spot repairs and assist students with uniform care. Reports to 4th VP of Volunteers.  Looking for 5-6 people to serve on this committee.
TRAFFIC SUPPORT
Chair: Greg Myers
Volunteer to manage vehicle traffic for student safety. Reports to 4th VP of Volunteers.  Looking for 15-20 people to serve on this committee.

PUBLIC RELATIONS

COMMUNICATIONS
Chair: Lori McCrory
Supports the public relations needs of ABBA through social media, website development, and publicity for events. Reports to 5th VP of Public Relations.  Looking for 1-2 people to serve on this committee.
EVENTS
Chair: Cindy Roberts
Works with VP of Public Relations on events such as organization, contacting vendors, helping with check in process.  Looking for 4-5 people to serve on this committee. 
PHOTOGRAPHY
Chair: Shayne Studdard
Attends events throughout the year to take pictures, record videos and capture moments.  Schedules committee members to make sure all events are covered.  Reports to 5th VP of Public Relations.  Looking for 3-4 people to serve on this committee.

STUDENT SPECIALTIES

COLORGUARD
Chair: OPEN
Works to support the Colorguard program.  Reports to 6th VP of Student Specialties.  Looking for 3-4 people to serve on this committee.
JAZZ BAND
Chair: Suzana Gonzalez
Works to support the Jazz Band program.  Reports to 6th VP of Student Specialties.  Looking for 2 people to serve on this committee.
PERCUSSION
Chair: Kathy Copeland
Works to support the Percussion program.  Reports to 6th VP of Student Specialties.  Looking for 3-4 people to serve on this committee.
